No compression all four cylinders

Just recently got a Saxo vts turbo. The seller was driving the car ok and the car was driven on to the couriers trailer who was independent of the seller. I booked the courier in myself and got the car delivered to me here in scotland. It was dropped off to me the next morning and it wouldn't start so rolled it off the trailer.

Can see my thread here - http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...89#post6514789

I have since checked it getting a spark on all four plugs
The fuel pump priming all ok
The injectors are all spraying fuel out ok tested them
Car is turning over but won't start no matter what I do

I done a compression test tonight and got 0 on all four cylinders. I tested the compression machine on my bike and got a reading straight away fine. The car turning over sounds the Same with all the plugs in as it does when they are removed.

Would this suggest the head is going to need removed to check for some damage ? Just want to check before I pull the head off.

Maybe the courier took it for a thrashing before loading it lol, in all seriousness though, that's not a good sign your getting no compression

I don't see how its possible to get 0 compression on all four cylinders unless your missing your pistons?

Possible head gasket failure, although tbh i'm guessing because that's a strange problem.

Was thinking that myself courier has been rally stageing it lol. Was the same guy that delivered my Last blue turbo vts and that arrived all safe and sound.

I thought the same but I tested the compressor on my bike and also on a generator and both gave me a good reading. The cars result was 0 on all four cylinders. All plugs out, fuel fuse removed and throttle open fully nothing :-(

Looking about at other threads it might be worth me checking the timing belt and timing then I think it going to be the head off

Drop oil down the cylinder and see compression results then.

I don't think oil down the bore will do anything if you're getting 0
As its all 4 at 0 I would have said the timing has jumped and bent a the valves unfortunately.
Pull the belt covers off and check the timing

    RIP engine

If it's making no compression on all 4 that's odd, that's either totally bent valves or holes in each piston. Unless the timings out but then that'll be nicely bent up valves again, head off I think for this one

Heads been off today all exhaust valves bent and 2 inlet bent.

    Damage done

If no compression likely to be the cause.

Unless the cambelt slipped when you tried to start it that's not true!
