Offside lower balljoint.. cost?

   Ay up boys.
   
   My ball joint be making wounding noises whenever I turn left.
   
   Anyone know if this is a big job?
   
   Will ring some garages just want to be sure I'm not getting arse raped.

   Definitely your ball joint??
   
   A few things can cause this. Top mount and drive shaft could be at fault. What's the symptoms?

   Ah that's a good point.
   
   Basically last MOT it was an advisory. Never noticed anything up till recently.
   
   Say your parked up at a supermarket and coming out your on a lot of lock left, i get a sort of 'clunk' noise and feel through the wheel. It doesn't sound at all healthy.
   
   Once straightened up and right turns are fine though haha?

   Sounds like top mount bearing.

   both arent too difficult to do yourself. if its a ball joint just get a new wishbone - easier than having a new joint pressed into the old one.
