Vectra c - what's this?

   Not a Saco but a Vectra, I've posted on Vauxhall forums but don't seem to get answers. Car started making a wineing noise and I found it to be what ever is in the video, as I put pressure on it it goes quiet.. Does any one know what it is?

   First off tappets are loud,second check all the belts run it for a few secs with the drivebelt disconnected and see if it still makes the noise.

   Not sure how to disconnect the belt tbh. Do you think it could be belt connected? Because the belt does squeel when I turn a corner now and then, also I'm getting a chirping kinda noise which I thought maybe a pulley bearing or something. Have got it booked in to sort the belt problem out next Tuesday.

   I think it's a belt causing a bit of strain on a worn bearing.

   Well what ever it is my car now won't start. Eml came on and it stalled and won't start back up

   I hope it wasn't the cambelt tensioner whining and the belts snapped,but that's the worse case scenario.

   It's chain driven so not that turns out to be the fuel pump after all... Thanks for the help
