TU5J4 getting on my nerves

  1. #1
My 106 GTi is really starting to get up my nose.
Keeping the engine at 5000rpm will cause it to raise and fall about 5-700rpm.
Sometimes the car runs like shit when cold, anything above 2000rpm will make the car stutter and have reduced power for a few min.

The other day it keept the revs up when i released the throttle (keept it at 2000rpm released the throttle and pressing the clutch), it even reved the engine up by 200rpm a few times before settling at idle after 5sec.
It did it 2 times within 30min, for about 2-3 min before going away.

There is absolutely no water or oil usage, not even 0.5l pr. 5000miles.
I've fitted a new icv, tps, o2 sensor (genuine peugeot item), coolant temp. sensor (genuine peugeot item), gasket on the inlet and the throttle body (both sealed with liquid sealer to make sure they are 100% tight)

Can it be a vacuum hose?

Yep or it could just be that a hose is not connected up firmly, good luck let us know how you get on.

If you sign up for a free account with citroen service then you'll get exploded diagrams of any parts & the part numbers.
