Important! : Gearstick parts and prices worth or not ? And help needed

    So looking at the different ones. What are your recommendations anyone got the cheap ones fitted and tested as seem identical to branded.

    I have been looking at these wanted to know your views on it if worth getting them or not and going elsewhere and buying different. Thanks in advance.

    With both of them will I also need a bar to put though it and then new gear knob like this. If so this is £20 new

    With the little fittings you get is it a matter of setting the height of it fixing together and then fitting in and putting everything back together again.

    You don't need the third one if you use one of the former two quick shifts. They replace the ball effectively

    An thx thought ball thing on it was secured under some way lol. Missed out on bar went as battery died on phone to place bid on lol.

    So is their any difference from them looking at them they look identical maybe different ratio on aluminum used and quality or just branded names?

    Can't see there being much difference really other than the stupid torx lock screws they use to secure the gearstick to it. Shouldn't have any issues with either providing you don't set the throw really short as the geadbox sync rhos don't seem to like that much

    Am after keeping same level as standard or maybe little adjustment and smoother gear change. Had full gearbox rebuild done linkage rods changed and up rated added and changed nylon ball unit. Just need this and bar doing to see if will improve as seem to be having a little problem on 2nd rest gears are fine and I know its the unit its self as its split and cracked so not doing it any favors as is atm.

    Gears where all smooth when got back from rebuild and seems has same problem as before on 2nd so maybe big link bar and gear stick needs doing. Are the bar cups that hold nylon ball in do these ware down quite fast or over time that might be the cause?
