I've recently bought a saxo and removed the old headunit (it was damaged and came without a face plate). So I have no idea if it worked in the first place, or not.
I've got my replacement and fitted it using all the correct harnesses etc, swapped the red and yellow/ However, when I power the ignition I get no response from the headunit other than ejecting the CD (which it will take back in again if I try). I've swapped this for another headunit, which is doing the same thing. I've done a bit of digging and it could be a ground issue. But I've reached the extent of my headunit knowledge and I don't want to start splicing cables without knowing what's what.
Can anyone help / advise?
