So I bought my saxo about 6 weeks ago and have so far spent nearly £500 trying to fix an electrical issue I'm having. So originally I was having issues with the battery light coming on and loss of power steering. so I suspected alternator, which was proven to be correct when it exploded. Replaced the alternator and was still getting battery light coming on and losing power steering, so tested battery and it was shot so replaced that too. Once again battery light still came on and lost power steering. Then it wasn't starting and my starter motor had been completely overloaded and exploded. So I replaced that as well. Surprise surprise, my battery light still comes on and I lose power steering, also I always hear a relay clicking somewhere behind the dashboard when the battery light is on and when it does my power steering comes back on for a split second. What can possibly be causing this? Replaced and rewired almost all electrical components on the car.
