The engine is turning over yes? Is it fuelling? Is it sparking? Is it getting air? The 3 things that an engine needs to run.
Does it try to fire and sort of splutter or just turn over?

Have you tried the spark plugs out of the engine to 100% see its sparking?
Also taken injectors out and tried starting to see if they're squirting?

Is the key light flashing on the dash at all?

Take injectors out and try starting and see if it squirts.
If not, see if fuel is getting to the rail.
    Does the fuel pump prime?
Also see if the key light is flashing on the dash when trying to start it

Yes must be injectors. Only other thing would be crank sensor but you say you've replaced that, I assume for one you know is working or a brand new one??

Has it had a conversion or ecu from another car or whatever? If not then it wont have locked, if it had it would come up with the key light flashing anyway I believe.
First step is to try injectors out and see if they're squirting.
Make sure all earths are cleaned up, everything's plugged in and all connections are clean.

Put some fresh fuel in,it's possible that the fuel already in there has lost some of it's octane.

This will get poo pooed by lots of people due to its aggressive nature, buts using holts 'easy start' or similar will get just about anything going. Soray down the inlet during cranking and BOOOOM. Ive used it a number of times on my cars and it works a charm after the car has been sat for a while.

Ive also used it to test an engine but you dont want to go crazy with it its nasty stuff and wont do the engine much good in the long run.

hiya just had a diagnostics on it today it reads 135 136 and 141 codes, so lambda and whats the other sensor called it comes up with oxygen sensor heating element.thanks... and also have tried easy start but wont go mate.
  17. #17
Oxygen sensor is the lambda sensor, they have they're own heating element.

Ok thanks gd to know. Does the furio have 2 lambda sensors then? And is it possible for them too both need changing and would this affect the car from not starting?? Thanks.

Type your reg into euro car parts, then you'll see if two lambda's are fitted.not sure if two can go bad at the same time, the top lambda is the main one.
