Knocking when turning

Afternoon Saxp. I’ve noticed that my Saxo knocks when turning right at slow speed. It sounds like it’s coming from the front drivers side wheel. I’ve done a bit of googling and read it might be the CV joint. Is there any way to determine if this is the case? What should I be looking/listening for? Where can I purchase a replacement part from?

If it's knocking as low speed on full lock it'll be the shaft.

You can change the cv joint but your better off just getting a full shaft. J&R shafts are a good buy for £30 a pop delivered.

That’s exactly what it’s doing. Thanks for that mate.

Yeah buy a shaft, having done some inner cvs the other month its satisfying but messy job and probably not worth the effort in the time it takes vs cost. Make sure you get the right shaft for your model year otherwise it'll be dead wheel bearing time
