Peugeot 206 1.1 won't start

    Being as this car has the same engine as a saxo i thought id enquire on here. The problem is today i turned the key until all lights are on the dash then when i turn the key to start it does absolutely nothing. No turn over, no sound or anything. It started perfectly fine last night as per norm but i have had this problem 4 weeks ago although after leaving it a few minutes it started up. However this isnt the case now. Its not a problem with the battery and all fuses are fine so im a bit lost on what the issue is?

    Could be many things; knackered battery, earthing wire to gearbox disconnected/broken, knackered starter motor, wiring faults, immobiliser?

    If battery is ok your next thing to check is the starter motor, which is quite hidden on these cars, check there is a voltage at the small terminal when you turn the ignition key, if not the problem could be at the ignition barrel . If there is a voltage the starter motor is probably knackered
