The saxo passed its MOT which was , but I have a few things that will need sorting so help needed please
    list are as follows

Nearside front upper tie bar / rod ball joint dust cover damaged , but preventing the ingress of dirt .
Offside ( same as above ) . What part is this ? or do I have to purchase the whole thing ?

Nearside lower tie bar / rod ball joint dust cover damaged ? .

Parking brake lever ratchet mechanism is slightly worn ? .

    Cheers all

I believe the tie bars are the drop links also known as anti roll bar linkages,

Very cheap items and 2 bolts to replace them.

For the second bit, you will need to replace the ratchet mechanism, probs worth getting one off a scrap saxo as main dealers will probs want a fortune

Two drop links (about £20 for the pair) but you'll probably need to cut the old ones off.

As said a new lever from a scrappy.

    Cheers for your help

I thought that was the drop links , I did replace them both last year I suppose they must of been of inferior quality ! , can you recommend a decent make ? .
I'll ask on here see if any one has a Furio ratchet as I am not sure if it is different to the VTR/S set up ?
    cheers

How much wear is there on the handbrake?
To me it sounds like the guy has sand in his vagina.

Picked up a new hand brake mechanism for £ 30 , sorted now , just on the look out for decent quality drop links as the bushes seem to wear quickly .
