#2Correct, it'll not be charging properly.
-
#3So does this charge the battery? Would it cause a problem if I just left it off as I'm not sure where to get a new 2 pin plug from.
-
#4when the battery goes flat, you'll have a 890 kg door stop
-
#5Mine still charged, just had a permanent batterylight
-
#6From what I remember that plug only turns on or off the battery light, the charging it's not affected, easy to find out by yourself anyway, plug in a voltmeter in the cigarette lighter and start the car otherwise Halfords offers a free battery check.
-
#7A wire that thin would melt if it were carrying charging current. Otherwise the wires to the battery terminals would be thin!
-
#8All it does is serve the warning light on the dash.
