airbag earth cables

   hi all
   
   been wrecking my head the past few days with resistors trying to get the airbag light off on my 01 vts. double checking wiring from previous owner and found a few wires crossed yet problem wasnt fixed so fulled back the carpet to make sure wiring has no damage and noticed an earth wire has been cut.
   
   
   can someone please help me out as to identify where this earth is from as there is no loose wire where it looks to be cut from

   just looking through photos im thinking it might be the earth for the passenger airbag but unfortunately the passenger airbig has been removed by the previous owner

   Did you check the cable under your seat? There is a cable that goes for the tensioner, is part of the air-bag system. Usually it breaks.

   It was for passenger airbag. I justt went to scrappy and got another airbag module and wires and put the resistors in so the light is off now
