VTR Overheating or leaking/using coolant

   Hi guys,
   
   My mum's been driving my saxo about and noticed the temperature gauge going over the halfway mark.
   
   Upon checking the coolant level in the radiator, it became apparent that it was non-existent.. and looked empty.
   
   Hasn't had a problem in 2 years so seems odd.
   
   I filled it up with water, and a few days later this has gone right down too.
   
   I'm guessing this means I have a leak, is there anywhere in particular I should be looking or a common place to look?
   
   And what do I do now, replace what? Haha.

   Best bet is a pressure test at a garage,it'll save time in the long run.

   My Pug was doing that turned out the rad had rusted through at the bottom, ended up having to install a new rad

   Mine was the thermostat housing
