Air filter 😁

   Hello guys erm not sure where to start but I've just passed my test a week ago, bought my 1st car (Saxo desire) I'm new to all of this modification stuff, I've bought a universal cone air filter from halfords I fit it it's working fine but there's a pipe that was going into the stars air filter my friend said it's an oil breather pipe or something (hope you know what I mean) was just wondering if I can leave that out or what I should do with it, any help would be great many thanks.

   Sorry I thought I uploaded one, I have sorted this now anyway I bought a oil breather from halfords, thank you anyway.
