Best aftermarket dampers

    I have apex 50mm lowering springs and standard shocker/dampers.

    As apex is budget suspension which dampers would be best paired with my apex springs, will bilstein acccomodate my springs ???

    I would like to get a better brand of dampers than apex if possible

    What do people suggest?

    Bilstein B8's or some Gaz dampers.

    I dont think GAZ are in the same league as Bilstein. If its a road car I think Bilstein are one, if not the best dampers you can buy.

    Definitely purchasing the Bilstein b8's next question is...how much lower is a vtr standard straight out the factory? As the eibach springs lower 45mm which would be perfect but that 45mm estimation covers all models so I'm guessing on a vtr they would only lower the front around 25mm - 30mm is that correct?

    Real world lowering is about 40mm on the VTR/VTS with the Eibach Springs

    Ive always used Bilstein B8s with eibach springs on my mk2 red vts.
    And only ever lowerd it all round at 40mm..

    I use Bilstein B12 with Eibach springs.
    It's the sportline not the pro tho, so it's to low to be honest
