I have an issue where if im having my car in idle, its like the cooling fluid is bad? Because i had a OBD tester on my car, and it Said it was 98 degrees!? And when its around there the cooling fan starts up, but im guessing this should not happend since theres no hot Sun? Its a 1.6 8v VTS from 2003
Engine is to hot??

my old VTR used to run quite hot at times, think the fan was quite quick to kick in -
#3How and when do i check?

#4If the engine is at running temperature, leaving the car at idle will make the fan kick in at some point because there's no wind hitting the radiator. Perfectly normal.
Coolant heats because of engine temperature, nothing to do with the sun
