floor lining sound proofing?

   Just wanted to know where you can get this stuff the sound proofing stuff that is under the carpet. Also when you remove this theirs like black squares like tar in some way or another where can this be bought from as both needs replacing on it.

   Knowhere that I know of for the original soundproofing,you could try some stuff called dynamatt.
