Unindentified part(s) under the wheel arch (mudguard)

    Hi All

    I've been puzzled by the following part. I don't know what it is. Initially I suspected that its the fuel pump, but turns out its not. Fuel pump should be visible when removing the back seet and one of the two rubber covers. This one is located under the passenger side wheel arch (mudguard) and has a hose that goes to the injector (it's a bosch motronic engine, so it's single point). Anybody knows whats the part supposed to be ?

    It's called a carbon canister & used to reduce Co2 emissions.

    is this on the drivers side or passengers side under the wing? your past says passengers the link says drivers side is there one under each?

    right hand side.

    its nothing to do with co2, its fuel vapour control system.

    Its not a RHD vehicle so its passengers side. I've got nothing on the driver's side.

    Makes sense, since it has a rubber hose that goes back to the tank.
