Some Advise Please.

Hello all,
I have purchased the following items,

I know there are many threads relating to steering wheel changing and the air bag ring/light,
but as always I am a bit slow so would really appreciate some advise,
I am OK with the battery disconnection and the removal of the air bag and steering wheel,
but now I am a little worried and would like to know,
The boss is flat on the back and does not have the extra bit so the indicators will not self cancel,
I can live with that but do I need to remove the airbag ring to fit this boss,
or do I have to take it from its location and place it under the dash somewhere?
also if I cut the orange plug off the one people put the resistors into,
will connecting one of these stop the light coming on due to the steering wheel change?
Its a fused 2.2ohm resistor

Remove the airbag squib ring,put a spade connector on both of the resisistor wires.Then plug these into the plug that was connected to the airbag ring(plug comming from the dash)

When you remove the ring i'm pretty sure there's another orange wire behind it.Bear with it's a long time since i've done one,if it helps look in the interior section under stickies removing your steering wheel it's full of pics.

Yep you have the right one,I was beginning to doubt myself it's been such a long time since I had a saxo in bits.

You can leave the airbag ring or remove it it's up to you,the boss should fit no problem either way,to set the airbag light off buy a 2.2 ohm resistor and place each end inside both of the orange plug small holes.

If you're having any problem while fitting it just post on here,the ring is connected to a wire that goes under the steering column,you can disconnect and remove it from there and then fit the resistor to the orange wire that has a brown connector that will be left.
