Oil pressure sensor size?

  1. #1
Hi there, does anyone know the thread size of the hole on the side just above the thermostat that is used to measure the oil pressure on the VTS? I know it's 1.00mm thread pitch but is it an M10? Am I correct assuming that this can also be used to wire an oil pressure gauge? Many thanks

I can't remember the size but this is where I plumbed my pressure gauge into.
I used a remote pipe so the sensor doesn't mount directly to the block, http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/perfor...remote-t-piece
They do a banjo version too so it's not too close to the manifold.

That's quite expensive but will do the job nicely, thanks for the tip,I'll try with a M10 x 1.00 bolt and go from there.

It is a little expensive but can save your pressure sensor (have heard they don't like vibrations).

I made a bracket so I could mount it just behind the rad, then extended the wire for the original pressure switch.
