#2A 16v manifold won't fit your 8v.
this thread explains why, http://106owners.co.uk/forums/showth...anifold-Thread -
#3Look at this on eBay - http://ebay.us/x1zqix

#4The above manifold is what I meant.

#5Do you mean Vtr??
As, yes the vtr is also an 8 valve engine, and that one should fit a 1.1.
However placing a better manifold on a 1.1 - is it worth it??? -
#6Ahh yes thanks mate. Well depends I guess in budget etc. I've had old fords and often tinkered with them too. Had a mk1 fiesta 1.1 yrs ago teal tidy dropped to the floor that was good fun car for lil 1.1. Any improvement on my 1.1 saxo is fun and it seems to just keep on giving eventho only measly 1.1. Part of the fun for me

#7Thanks for reply mate. Will probably go for it now I know it'll fit cheers

#8You'll gain 1bhp.
-
#9A gain is a gain plus a few other mods. I believe it to be more based on gains I've had on similar small cc engines but hey. Thanks matey appreciate that

#10Tried and tested on here a million times, it'll give minimal gains but may alter the charactoristics of the car a little.
I'd be spending my money on handling mods, uprated mounts or picking up a s1 rallye gearbox. you're never going to make a 1.1 'quick' but you can make it a whole load of fun at low speeds. -
