Does anybody else find the pedals to be just a little small and close together? I have my Saxo for learning in at the same time as having official lessons in a Fiesta Mk7 belonging to a driving instructor and I find there is quite a difference in pedal position between the cars, When I'm in my Saxo it feels like I'm wearing clown shoes as I often catch the brake pedal at the same time as the accelerator. Is there any way to get the pedals wider spaced?

#2It'll just take some getting used to. Be fine once you've been driving it a while.
-
#3I bent them out a little on my first 106, haven't bothered with any of the others though to be honest as you just get used to it. I actually quite like it for spirited driving.

#4Problem is, there's not really a whole lotta space down there to begin with.
Takes a little getting used to but after a while you'll forget its any different to be honest.
Just one of the 'quirks' of a saxo / 106

#5Choose your driving shoes carefully, maybe keep a 'special' pair in the car.

#6Agreed I have a special pair of driving shoes for driving my saxo now lol. Tried all me trainers and shoes and was like da fuck keep hitting me accelerate and brake at same time. Was like ok shits got to be simple to space or add better pedal system to car.Quote:Choose your driving shoes carefully, maybe keep a 'special' pair in the car.
My special pair of driving shoes

Their good, can feel the pedals good, Small trainers but work wonders for when driving about. -
#7Always found them to be really close in peugeot's aswell but you soon get used to it!

#8lol, I bought 4 pairs of puma speedcats BMW Williams to drive the sax. I tried the steel toe dickies in there once, it just won't do.
