vts rear brakes not working!

   they worked fine, then had my saxo on stands for about 4 weeks then took it down for mot and now they are saying rear brakes arent working.
   
   so i jacked up the back end and had someone press the brake and i could spin the wheels with my hands but handbrake works okay.
   
   So i cleaned out the callipers and wound the pistons back in but still having same problem!
   
   Any ideas?

   The handbrake works different to the pedal. It'll either be ceased sliders or fluid not getting up the line.

   Remove the caliper wind it back & with somebody gentle pressing the pedal see if the piston moves out, put a big spanner or a block of wood into the caliper so that if the piston does suddenly come out it won't come out too far. It could be that the sliders are ceased & not the piston.

   It will probably be seized or partially seizing brake bias valve. Common Saxo problem
