Jp4 pistons compared to j4

    Hey guys. Just wondering. I've a j4 block and a jp4 head. Just wondering if I was to get pistons for a jp4 would they fit a j4 block on their rods and run OK?

    Reason is I've found a set of forged pistons for the jp4 block.

    pistons are the same
    differnece isjp4 rods are thinner and do not have fully floating little ends --so not what you want really
    if these rods +pistons have circlips in and rod swivels on piston pin .not fixed to it --then they are j4 --which is what you want

    sorry read you message wrong -- you have found forged rods for jp4 -- do they have bushs in little end +what size --so you know they will match with your pistons --check piston pin size on your pistons
