Helicoid Master Cylinder Brake Pipes.

   I'm replacing the mastery cylinder brake pipes and I was wondering if I can just go with the easiest route when making the new lines instead of copying the coils from the old line?
   
   
   I was just thinking to go like this if it can withstand vibrations from the engine fine?

   I think the coils are for cooling more than anything? That said they lines should clip into plastic clips on the body so just hook them into those and route as best you can. Shouldnt vibrate when done like that and will keep their integrity

   Yes of course I will use the standard brackets making sure they are connected safely,I was just unsure on the coils part,I didn't think about the cooling function,if that's so would it make a difference if I route them on the shortest way?

   Thought so,can the coils not be replicated without incurring in problems in the future on the new line? That's all I need to know.

   I always thought they were for cooling and the research I did led to me to believe it too but the vibration/ body movement to protect the pipes makes sense to me too. did always think that story was going to give marginal effects about the cooling though. I doubt you'd run in to any problems without the coils but then if you are making them yourself from copper it's not going to take long to make some coils in it

   Yes I searched a bit and the cooling theory came up as well but I doubt it has anything to do with that more than anything just to allow some movement and in case of a major collision so brake are not compromised is what I'm thinking.
   
   I'll try to copy exactly the line as they are hoping the bending tool I have it's enough for the job,thanks for the help!

   I make bend mine round on a little £2 rope pulley, works really well considering!

   I'm just worried about kinking that's why I would like to use tools specifically made for this job only but I'll see when I have the pipes.

    You have to be pretty ham fisted to kink them especially if using kunifer
