so just over a week ago my car wouldnt start at all, no power so i replaced the battery and it worked.
then last thursday i was driving back from work and a few times when i had stopped in traffic the engine would cut out but it started up apart from the one occasion where i just left it a while and then it started again. It hasnt happened since until tonight...
I was driving home again and stopped at some lights on the Bristol Road in birmingham ( 6 lane road busy traffic ) and it cut out again, the immobiliser light flashed whenever i tried starting it and and it wouldnt start. I tried disconnecting the battery for 5 minutes and trying again and still the same. At one point while sitting there i left the key turned and the engine light started flicking on makings a judding sound and at the same time the speedo needle would bounce around even though the engine wasnt running?
Ive ended up abondoning it for the night and getting it towed tomorrow morning but have no idea whats the problem??
