Car pinking/missing/spluttering

   Hi, my first time posting here..
   
   i own a 106 gti on "x reg"
   
   when i bought the car it had a the same problem, it seems to happen at the same revs in ever gear, car just seems to die around 2500-3000rpm, and splutters, but if i put my food to the floor the problem goes away and car picks back up as normal.
   
   since then i have fitted a jp4s engine.. and bought another j4 for the inlet, cams valve springs etc..
   
   i used every sensor of the donor j4 engine, so i used map sensor, icv tps temp sensor, coolent sensors knock sensors oil level sensors changed all of them.
   
   and yet i still have this missing or pinking if thats what its called.
   
   ive also changed the, injectors, fuel pump, spark plugs, lambda sensor, fuel relay, fuel filter.
   
   only thing i have to change is coilpack then i have changed everything over ont he engine bar the loom and ecu.
   
   anyone got any ideas because its driving me mad!

   Get the coil pack changed

   ok mate, just trying to find one is a nightmare as my local motor factors want £98

   Try ebay mate I had to buy one last week as I'm having running issues, I've changed map sensor and plug, spark plugs and coil pack.
   
   Think I'm going to look at the injectors

   TPS or MAP perhaps? Do you have a multimeter to test them?

   yea got a multi metre but they all been changed:/
