#2Happy to be corrected
Floor to jacking points
190mm Front
220mm Rear
Pull out torsion bar, set height of trailing arm, reinsert torsion bar. -
#5I might have to put mine back to standard height . Not looking forward to it .
-
#6Thanks for reply lads ! When you say floor to jacking points but the car is jacked up with no wheels on
-
#7There is a recognised arch to hub measurement, but I don't know what it is i'm afraid
-
#8simple-- refit std ride hieght front springs
and set the rear height at jacking points 20-25mm higher than front jacking points -
#9Usually if they've been lowered it isn't that hard to change the height again afterward, they usually get well greased up upon refitting. That is of course if the last person that touched it wasn't a prat.Quote:I might have to put mine back to standard height . Not looking forward to it .
Mines starting to 'Ping' nicely so it needs a rebuild... again... -
#10At the rear don't lower based on body to floor.
Standard height is 305mm between the shock absorber mounting holes.
You lower at a ratio of 2.5:1. so 285mm between the holes would be lowering 50mm ride height.
