Broken fob

   Hi,
   
   I bought a vts last week but the button inside the fob has snapped off. Not the rubber part, the actual button on the circuit board.
   
   I have a fob from another vts I don't have anymore. Can I just swap this insides over so it's with the right chip? Or is that related to the chip

   If you swap over, it will need re programming mate but not sure how you do it

   you will be better off just buying a cheap remote kit such as the Hawk HA008 or if you want to go more upmarket the Toad RK30 kit.

   Thanks guys, I wasn't sure if the chip was on the board or was literally just the black plastic chip bit you get inside some fobs.
   
   Do those kits just do the alarm, or do they incorporate immobilisers too?
