Saxo Maintainance Key

   Hi Saxo Members,
   
   I recently bought Citroen Saxo 1.1 Forte (2002) and it shows a maintainance key, as far as I checked MOT and service history anything doesnt seem to show any particular section where the problem might be, timing belt is tight and oil levels are okay, though I haven't changed any filters yet i decided to check them first.
   
   Anyway I found that fuel filter strap is missing and i had a question may it be a reason why it shows it?
   
   Another thing before I went to check my Saxo, I read articles in here about clutches and gearbox linkage problems, although gearbox is loose it is not making any sounds when i am shifting gears or releasing clutch, might it just need a tightening?

   No the maintenance key shows up with a mileage number,it's basically how many miles until the car needs a service mate.

   Yes I did understand that through the owners handbook, but i was curious may I find it out and fix it or its a service that can only diagnose the issue?

   Service the car & then pretty sure there's a guide on here to reset the spanner symbol.
