Sparco subframes help!!!

  1. #1
This is doing my head in!!!!

I have recently purchased a pair of sparco racing reclining seats along with sliding runners and subrames.
The only instruction is a small paragraph in italian.

The sliding runners are bolted on the new seats no issues.

However the subframes come with no bolts or locking nuts.

Obviously when attaching the subframes to the sliding runners(on the bottom of the new seats) these holes aren't threaded so i will definetly need locking nuts wont i????

Surely with these been sold as a bolt in direct replacement it shouldn't be this awkward.

Someone must have installed sparco seats and subframes???

    Please please enlighten me

    Thanks in advance

If you post that paragraph I can translate it.
I've Sparco subframes and sliding runners and these come with bolts and nyloc nuts so just get some new ones of these, they should be M8 iirc.

I translated it myself mate which came to very little instructions.

Turns out sparco do a seat hardware kit which has all the correct bolts nuts and washers required for base mounted seats. Surely my sub frames should of come with this?

Also when i bought these seats it says its suitable for race harnesses or use with normal seatbelt setup, i have removed the belt buckle from my orginal seats which is held on by a single bolt, yet there's nothing on the sparco subframes that stands 90degrees to bolt the seatbelt buckle to???

    What a joke.

Im guessing these subframes can only be used wi race harnesses?'??'!!!

That's probably not true, do the seats have small black covers at the side lower section?

If I remember correctly the ones I had (which Veiron now has) had a small black cover which when removed had a hole where you could bolt the original seat belt buckle/pre tensioner to.
