   my mate drove me and my car to prviate land today, and i redlined it in 2nd with clock showing 67mph on flat.
   
   
   Surely it cant be more than 7mph out.???
   
   Had it upto 90in third aswell
   
   Ohh and 6 weeks tommorrow ill be legit to drive on roads
   
   It is standard 98bhp 2002 VTR witha powertec and piper exhaust

   At 67mph, the speedo is 6mph (I think) according to my TomTom.

    wont make a blind bit of difference as the speedo is linked to the gearbox, therefore altering the tyres and stuff will adjust the actual speed not the speedo.

    In my 1.1i saxo the speedo says that i can get 56mph in second...... the speedo isnt gunna be too far out ive done a bumper to bumper test with a mates car behind... Thats why i can beleive a VTR might hit 60moh in second.

    Go get a GPS speedo reader or sat nav unit, then test.

    I tell you what dont forget to stick your flux capacitor on for when your doing 60 in second in your standard vtr/1.1/1.4 seeing as your already breaking the laws of physics then you might as well do some time traveling to
