Headlight Alignment

   How do it on a mk1?
   Have a phillips head for one direction but am i missing something on the headlight as i was told there was a wheel to turn which looks like it should be on the end of the white piece in the picture. I have tryed twisting this but it seems solid.

   wd40 on it soak it in it try twisting back and forth looks like you got something missing on the white end bit to me. Get some more pictures and clear one. Depending on lights you have in should look somthing like this
   
   Should able put screw driver in that little pot and turn to adjust the height.

   So by the turning the screw it actually spins the white piece around so i do not think it matters even if i am missing something on the end.
   Would i be right in saying turning the screw aligns the lights from left to right and the only way of adjusting the height is from the adjuster inside the car?
   
   I presumed their would have been a manual adjuster also for height.

   is the only way on the lights. Where drivers seat is that is just to adjust the height they sit at. sit about 20 ft from a wall in the dark get some tape out and mark where their pointing at and adjust them with the screw and see if make any improvements and go from their.
