Changing electric power steering

   Has anyone any experience in converting saxo to electric power steering, for the purpose of saving weight.

   I converted our saxo to the EHPAS,
   do you just want a eletric motor on the steering column like modern cars?
   
   I sold the old stuff on ebay for to someone who wanted to convert the standard EHPAS to non PAS.

   The whole pedal box etc is different between PAS & non PAS models inc the shape of the hole in the bulkhead where it all fits.
