Lost keys/ECU unlock

   Hey all, new to the forum and new to Saxo's.
   
   I've bought an X reg Saxo VTR with no keys. I've since sourced a lock set but they're from a Y reg and that has a 3 plug ECU over my single plug ECU.
   
   I've read how people do their own immobiliser deletes/ECU unlocks on running cars, but how do I do that on a non running car?
   
   I have a handy PCB electrician friend who can sort it for me if anyone has instructions on removing that part of the ECU.
   
   Any advice?

   The immobiliser coding is in a serial EEPROM. It will be something like a 24C04 or similar.
   If you PCB man can open the ECU read it and send me the file I can remove the immobiliser from it.

   Hey everyone, hoping to get the file back over the next few days, do I need to do anything else to make it permanent? I've read bits about disconnecting certain ECU pins or removing black boxes.

   yes you'll need to change the wiring loom from single plug,to 3 plug.

   Just unplug the immo box that lives behind/above the fuse box.
   
   I'll get your file done and sent this weekend, I've been mental busy with racing work this week as is usual this time of year....
