Indicator flash light on instrument panel not always working (MOT fail)

One of my MOT fails is the indicator flash light on the instrument panel, as it was not working at MOT test. This is an intermittent problem as sometimes it works and other times it does not. While investigating this problem, I loosened the screws on the instrument panel and wiggled it about – the light then started to work again, however it later stopped working. This makes me think it is a loose connection. In response to this I did the following:

1)Took the instrument panel out, unclipped and cleaned the plugs. I sprayed these with carb cleaner and WD40.

    2) I then clipped the plugs back together and the indicator flash light worked again. Problem is it later stopped working until I fiddled with the plugs again.

    3) I have checked all wires and these look okay.

    4) I even had the indicator stem out and cleaned the terminals there, however I think the problem is the instrument panel side.

This is obviously a loose connection in the instrument panel plug, so how do I go about fixing this? Visually everything looks okay.

If it's mk1 clocks just fit a new bulb and don't spray the panel with carb cleaner. What you need is electrical contact cleaner mate.

it does not have bulbs it's LED on circuit board. Plus I don't think there is anything wrong with the LED as it does work sometimes. I think it's just a connection problem as if I wriggle plug about it works. So how to sort it?
