Saxo (1999) Map light rusted

   Hi
   Sun roof's been leaking for couple of months (Gorilla clear tape finally sorted it!) but interior map light only stopped working today. Bulb socket rusted, so new bulb didn't help. Any suggestions of my next step?

   Could try cleaning up the connections with a bit of sandpaper and some wd40 or replace it as they're only a couple of quid

   Thanks, wasn't sure I'd be able to find connectors for such an old car. Will clean it first though. Cheers.

   Completely dismantling light unit and sanding down what turned out to be all rusted metal parts has worked a treat!! Light works again.

   Glad you've got it sorted
