Important! : Passenger driveshaft needed advice needed

So after grabbing dinner today found the problem to my noise on passengers side where was getting some sort of a clicking nose where thought was brakes being applied and slow start. Turns out outer cv boot is split and pissing out oil or grease seen on road where as parked up and come back got car jacked up when got home to find its split.

What would be best? fuck getting a cv boot kit and going getting new full drive shaft as its already had inner, outer rubber cv boots replaced in past and seems needs new one. Would this indicate drive shaft is at cause here? As I have not done anything to cause it to split and new cv boots less than year old. Maybe wrongly put on or cheap crap installed?

CV Boot kit? or new Driveshaft time if so advise on good one to get as been looking at some but all can see most places on fleebay and euro car parts is Q-Drive Driveshaft and reading up on them kinda shitty from reviews and problems people had.

there is two different types of shaft (tapered and non tapered) depending on the year of your vehicle, send J&R an email with your registration and they should be able to supply you the correct shaft if you are unsure. It will be one of the two shafts on the left though the longer ones are for the drivers side.

I have J&R shafts on mine and had no problems in the past 2 or 3 years done 30-40k on them.

J+R or euro carparts are good for drive shafts..

Deffo get a new d/shaft mate, sometimes with things like this I've notice your better off just getting the whole thing and getting it over and done with, I would personally buy drivers and passenger side and do at the same time, at least then you won't have problems with cvs for a while, can do it yourself with a ball joint breaker and I think the shaft nuts on outside of hub are either 19mm or 21mm, just remember to grease the spline when putting it into gearbox side otherwise it can be a tight squeeze
