saxo badges removing

   quick question just wanted to know what the best way to remove the saxo badges from the boot also wil it leave any holes?? it is a mk2 saxo.

   they'll need to be filled, smoothed and painted

   You can just prize them away with with a credit card or similar... You can use a bit of heat (hairdyer) but it's not essential. All Saxo badges are fixed to the boot lid with double sided sticky pads and they also have guiding pins which will leave holes behind the badges.

   Yeh... anything like that will do the trick. Sticker remover... White Spirit, etc...

   when you remove them you will be lef wiith holes in the pannel. Unless you want a wet boot floor and possible damage to other structues of the boot is is recommended to have them filled in properly so they are sealed, then get them sprayed over.

   thanks a lot guys i aint removing the then lol how much woud it cost to get dun would that have to spray the all the boot again??

   people round my way have paid 100 for them and have the number plate recess smoothed out

   dont think my sis wants to smooth it out i will see if she wants to spray them black instead it will be on a gold saxo so do u think spraying them black will look good??

    I would spray them the same colour as the car, but black wud look ok i guess

    will see what shes says damo. where would i find the colour code and can i spray them while thay are on the car??

    You can find the paint code on the inside of the drivers door. You could pop to Halfrauds as they'll sell a Citroen gold (or at least they should). Definitely take the badges off if you're going to spray them. Otherwise, you might get runs on the existing bootlid and not all the edges will be done.
    
    After removing them and putting them back on... get yourself some 1mm double sided sticky pads from Halfrauds to fix them back onto the bootlid.

    Saxo badge leaves 2 holes
    Citroen badge leaves 3 holes
    
    Definately get it done properly if you remove them, on mine a metal plate was welded on and smoothed back and the whole boot resprayed. Cost me £150 but i also has a small dent removed on the boot and the rear washer jet smoothed. Ud be looking at £100
