hand brake stcuk advise neded

   SO when I release my handbrake handbrade does not come off even tho released it if i hold the button in and move up and down eventually it releases but is getting worse to the point it is not releasing.
   
   Anyone know what the cause of this is for my handbrake to stick in the on position. Had new cables put on last year and since then up until now has been fine. Would this be the had brake handle its self of cables. Some advise needed. Is this a simple fix like remove heat shield and see what going on?

   Disconnect the cable from the caliper, if the brake stays on then it's the caliper, if it doesn't then it's the cable. You might be able to spray the caliper with plusgas & grab the arm with pliers/moles & get it moving again.

   Had this on my car it was the handbrake mechanism inside the actual caliper sticking
