106 GTi Alarm

    Hi,

    My key is missing the button off the fob so I've had to remove the fuse for the alarm to stop it arming, however the fuse is also the radio fuse, and not having a radio is painful.. I know you can unplug the black box under the dash but won't the alarm still arm when I put the fuse back in? As far as j know there's no way to disarm the alarm without the button? Thanks

    On the Saxo the way I have done it is disconnect the battery, leave fuse in/put it back in, switch on the ignition to position 2, then reconnect the battery that seems to disable it, you can then lock/unlock doors with the key. We haven't a radio (track car) so may look at taking fuse out as I always forget to switch ignition on before reconnecting battery.

    If you remove the alarm module no more alarm

    Where is the alarm box, the black most people refer to is only the immobiliser

    its slapped on the passenger side of the heater matrix under dash says texton on it
