Hello guys!
Today during the diagnostics of my Saxo I've noticed that the engine coolant temperature sensor is not working properly. The temperatire dash indicator is showing the temperature correctly but the diagnostics PC is showing temperature of 43oC when the engine temperature is aroung 90+ degrees and the fans are spinning. I've changed the bottom sensor it looks like that but they sold me a new one also dark blue and told me that it is the same (there is 1 wire connected). The other one looks like this and got 3 pins with 2 wires connected. And now when the car warms up the temperature of the sensor goes down but on the indicator seems to be ok as before. The air temperature sensor also shows permanent values of 50-53 degrees.
Is there a way to check does the problem comes from the ECU, wiring loom or the sensor? How much should be the voltage of the both sensor plugs?
The VIN number of the car is: VF7S6NFXB57754984
The ECU is Magneti Marelli with S/N MM48P with 3 plugs.
Thanks in advance!
