VTS 97 - Restoration Alarm Issues PLEASE HELP

Hi,

I've have recently bought a 97 VTS that had carbs on. I have removed these and returned it back to standard.

I had to get a replacement single plug loom as the last one had been molested.

I've changed them over and everything is plugged in apart from the carbon canister and sump.

when trying to start the car and entering the immobiliser code correctly the lights have already started flashing................ then they stop for a bit, then flash again and so on.....

when I bought the car with its unfinished carb conversion, it started up and didn't have this hazard light warning type problem so it has happened since I have fitted the new loom probably?????

Any ideas?

I haven't locked the car since I've bought it (month or 2 ago) as its been garaged as ive been working on it and haven't used the key fob. could this possibly disarm/stop the hazards??

pretty sure there was a small change in the loom pre and post keypad immob well looks like it from this diagram look at a124/a162
