Written off questions

   Hi,
   
   My car was hit while parked and has been written off. I have decided to keep the car (plus the value of the car). My question is this, can it still be parked on the road outside my house? Even though it's been written off? The MOT is brand new and the Tax is valid.

   I'm not entirely sure but I thought when written off. It doesn't have an MOT any more and has to have a more in depth one to be allowed back on the road?

   It'll need a new inspection if you decide to repair it,at the moment it's deemed as unroadworthy.
