Starting fault

   Iv had a look around the forums but cant find an answer.
   Iv got a saxo 1.1 1998 thats having problems starting, when i turn the key nothing happens, an it takes a few goes then it will turn over an start, any ideas where to look for the problem? It has a keypad immobiliser on it but iv disabled it so i dont think thats the problem.

   The keypad did you disable it before or after the starting problems?

   After. I got it to start this mornin after a few trys then unpluged it

   do the dash lights dim when you try to start it and it don,t work ?
   if so its a starter motor problem --if not it could be dodgy ign switch or starter solenoid/wiring to it --or your inmobiliser

   Looks like it is the ignition, i sprayed some wd40 into it an it started fine no problem
