Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question but i'm looking at investing in some new gaz coilovers and I'm wondering if its worth the extra money for gaz gold rear shocks or not as i'm not quite sure what is the difference between these and standard gaz rears?
Gaz gold rears?

#2I'd get bilsteins.

#3I'm just looking for coilovers that will be a good all rounder for road use and the odd spirited drive wherever that might be. I'm thinking gaz as I'm hoping they won't be too harsh as I'd like to keep some comfort, any other suggestions welcome though

#4kyb agx are adjustable shocks, on front you can adjust 1 to 4 settings, i usually set on 2 on eibach pro kit springs. 1 being the soft 4 being hard can't recommend them enough, and to clarify you do not need to remove the strut to adjust the setting

#5bilsteins, never been a fan of any car with gaz I've tried, they've been much better on Bilstein.
you can do coilover easy with them. -
#6How would I get a coilover setup with bilsteins like I know I could use the shocks but what springs etc? not seen them do a coilover package. I just want it all in one kit ideally so its ready to go on.

#7you asked about rears lol.
any coilover kit at the lower end will need you to do some fabrication yourself in the form of removing the spring pans and fitting a threaded sleeve.
higher end stuff you send a set of donor legs off to be modified, and full on suspension setups replace the whole lot. -
#8I know but I will be wanting bilsteins all round if I go for them not just on the rear lol hmm ill have to do a bit more research on whats available and prices not wanting to spend anything more than £500 though
