8v with 16v injectors?

   I am running 8v 98hp saxo vtr with 421 exhaust and open filter...having feeling that on end its missing fuel a bit,5th gear wont go till end with 14/60 FD.
   
   I know that mapping would probably solve problem,but problem is that giving 300 euros for some breathable mods its stupid to me,would maybe some bigger injectors solve a problem? i think they are 154cc and vtr ones are a bit less..some experiance?

   nope, bigger injectors on their own will not make it faster.

   It's probably too rich as stock for best power, done by the factory to keep the EGTs down so the cat doesn't melt...
