   hi ive a 1998 saxo, 1.0 injection, is there a way of getting more power from the engine some times is a bit dead on the road thank you

   Service it,other than that fit a vts engine.

   It's not even a whole litre!
   
   You could add nitrous, or supercharge or turbocharge it!

   Good service get rid of any unnecessary weight good quality oil better air filter in the air box. Won't be much but may give it lil bit of a zing. As its such a lil motor lose weight from the car will help and don't follow others and put massive fat wheels on. More drag less speed. My lil 1,1 is great fun lil car happy with it after few mods no plans to get bigger motor

   The 1.0 life engine died out due to Europe emissions tests as they where not up to standards, stripping out my 1.1 litre helped it out a lot kept losing a race with my friends fiesta 1.25 16valve 74 bhp engine then took out the rear seats boot intera and the roof lining and the spare tire it's so much quicker used to be him slowly getting away from me now it's the other way around Aha
