Would removing the sensor course the engine to think it to run rich at all? Any ideas as I've straight piped my exhaust and want to get it to bang and pop more thanks in advance guys

Depends on the limp home safety map to be honest. Most do overfuel to try and limit engine damage that is the result of running lean for extended periods of time, so yeah, you might get the effect you're looking for.

Personally, I think that actions like that in the long term, are a risk to your engine.

If you must have extra pops and bangs, my recommendation would be to get a mapper to add a little timing retard through the deceleration sections of the map, along with a squeeze more fuel demand, and turning off fuel cut if that's possible.

Fuel cut is done by TPS not MAP

Disconnecting MAP will probably just make it drive worse and thirsty.
